Heli&Co Expedition
2021-2022

Heritage.
New forms.
Exciting adventures.

The first professionalround-
the-world helicopter expedition
you could be part of.

20 YEARS OF UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

Heli&Co Expedition was born out of a chain of unique events, based on the lifetime experience of courageous, innovative and romantic people - profound connoisseurs, professionals, wedded to their job.

Their achievements and experience have developed into a new form, a single organism. Heli & Co Expedition is a global helicopter expedition and travel company. The goal is to provide a limitless source of inspiration and energy and to reveal the vocation of each participant and crew member of the expedition.

Professionalism, courage, passion, commitment to the job and discoveries inspired our pioneers to set world records, win sports championships, perfectly manage flights, masterfully train and teach helicopter sports techniques to others.

In 2017, the team members, spouses Natalia and Maxim Sotnikov, together with the Polish pilot Marcin Szamborski, successfully flew around the globe, which was a turning point in the life of not only the crew itself, but also the people who watched these events with passion.

And the bold dream of one person has become our reality, which we are creating together with you.

The Sotnikovs, Maxim and Natalia

Maxim A. Sotnikov, absolute World Champion in helicopter sports, Master of Sports of international class, Vice-President of the Russian Helicopter Sports Federation. His wife Natalia is a private pilot - the crew’s navigator.

They made a round-the-world trip in a Bell 407 helicopter in 57 days. Apart from Maxim and Natalia, the crew included the Polish pilot Marcin Szamborski and pilot Michael Movshin.

"The World Around 2017 flight was the second successful round-the-world helicopter flight in Russia and the 14th in the world. In total, in the entire history of light aircrafts, about 450 round-the-world flights were made. The number of circumnavigators is small, and you have a chance to become one of them. No doubt, a round-the-world flight is not an easy and not always a safe thing, but it is a unique and amazing adventure and challenge. Get focused on your dream and provide for proper preparation. Do dream on your part! And the preparation is to be made by smart, professional romantics, with whom we maintain relationships through many years of friendship and numerous flights to Russia and Europe - Lesha Remeshkin, Maxim Kaplun, Seryozha Komarov, Zhenya Mikhailenko.

Each of us has our own doubts, but if our example helps you decide to fulfill your dream, we will be happy to help you. We started flying helicopters when we were in our 50s, and flew around the world in our 60s. And this is not the limit, one of our acquaintances, a Canadian businessman, made his own circumnavigation when he was 74. Eerything is possible! The impossible simply requires more time".

For over 20 years, he has managed large-scale private and public projects in the areas of investment, urban development, and industrial facilities in Russia and Southeast Asia.

Immersive journey

Each trip is a multi-color palette of events, encounters, and new experiences. Each new point on the map, whether it is the wonders and beauties of the landscape or anthropological discoveries, introduces us to the history, achievements and wealth of Humanity and the Planet.

Traveling by helicopter gives you an incomparable freedom! The freedom to fly, the freedom to choose a route, the freedom to be at the point you chose. To soar like a bird over the planet, descending to the earth – is a real miracle. Inspired children and adults can not remain indifferent, smiling and waving their hands at you, dreaming of flying. To soar again, to redraw yesterday, tomorrow, today – this is a unique experience that will not leave you ever the same!

Any real journey reconfigures the coordinate system of a person, adds up a kaleidoscope of impressions, rewrites the internal narrative and reshapes the picture of the world.

Today, you will climb the helicopter ladder being still the same as you are now. But what are you going to be when you get off this ladder in 30 days?

'To live a life without knowing the full grandeur of one's existence is a crime." -Sadhguru

Everyone who read this book or watched a cartoon as a child wanted to repeat it. True? Approximately the same 80 days will take our round-the-world adventure.

n 2021, we will start with the Russian part. The 4 stages will last 30 to 40 days, depending on the trip route and the weather. The preparation of the trip is the work of the whole team (more than 150 people), who has taken care of everything.

He has made flight trips around half the world by helicopter, from Western Europe to Kamchatka, and has made flights over Afghanistan. He made a transcontinental flight from France to Yakutia.

A round-the-world trip is an opportunity to see the world from a different angle, which is unusual for us.

A round-the-world adventure has more value than thousand days of well-being and comfort

A world of the planetary scale. Elbrus, Altai, Baikal, Sakhalin, Kamchatka, Kuril Islands, Canada, Alaska, Greenland, Norway, Iceland... Everything that was a dream from early childhood. It's time to set the flags!

The world that was given to us by the generations of our ancestors. Dezhnev, Khabarov, Bering have overcome, fought, coped with failures, but they have struggled on and on and discovered this world for us. We have to see it, it was all for a reason!

The world through the eyes of God. For a helicopter, there are no boundaries and no bad mood. In the East, there is a belief that birds do not know how to be sad, as they are awarded with eternal freedom.

A world that we must preserve for our children, look into each other's eyes, change ourselves and our lives, achieve our goals, become a legend of our family.

Can I put it off for later?

I'm flying on April 15.

"Pilots can be either brave or old, there are no both brave and old pilots..."

Sergei Jastrzembski

Russian statesman, diplomat. Director and founder of the non-fiction Yastreb Film company.

When I first heard from Svetlana Vakhtel about the project, I have envied you in a good, unbiased way. I myself have had the chance or the good fortune to spend a lot of time in the air. It was on board small planes, helicopters, and in balloon baskets, and on paragliders with a camera, and each time I have brought back a rich harvest, which was then reflected in one of my albums, which is called Aero Impressionism. Observing the earth and filming it from the air is an amazing experience, because the earth from the air looks incredibly beautiful, sometimes mysterious, sometimes, if you prefer it, sensual, sexy. When we stamp our feet on the ground, we trample on this sexuality, and from above we evaluate it in a completely different way…

I am incredibly encouraged by your audacious project. As I understand it, you have a lot of courage, initiative and creativity. All I have to do is to wish you good luck!

Mark Kukushkin

Producer of the festival "PIR: Development Practices", founder of Training Boutique company, shareholder of Best T&D Group and Assessment Systems Russia.

was fascinated by the project all at once. And by the very idea of helicopter circumnavigation – I happened to fly by helicopter (in the Arctic, Kamchatka, Alaska, Altai and many other places). Even if I made a lot of flights, I would always feel the shortage of these...

And by the name of it –"The world through the eyes of God". That's what the project's name sounds to me.

The project leaders - Maxim and Natalia Sotnikovs, who made a round-the-world trip by helicopter, spoke at my PiR festival in 2020 (thanks to Maxim Kaplun, who introduced us). They have managed to infect the audience with the idea of a helicopter journey around the world and the prospects provided by it just in a few minutes.

Would be happy to fly over the natural wonders of the planet and over the spiritual shrines of Russia.

I would like to offer to the partner companies to conduct their strategic sessions in this way only, and to the friends of mine – to follow exactly this way in pursuing their future: watching closely the world below you and peering at the horizon!

With faith in the project!

Alexandr Kravtsov

Owner of the ExpeditionTM brand.

Every adult man has a hidden little boy inside who dreams of traveling around the world. Some people have the desire and strength to realize this dream. In 2007-8, the "Expedition" organized a round-the-world trip: Vladivostok - Alaska-North and South America-Lisbon-Murmansk-Vladivostok. We used two jeeps to search for the Russian trail and buried the treasures. And we have had started lifting cars on two helicopters.

When I learned that Alexey Reshemkin and Maxim Kaplun had planned a helicopter trip around the world, I was heartily happy and decided that I would support them in every possible way.

"Heli&Co x World Around is a powerful idea. And everything will work!"

Dmitry Krylov

Author and host of Clumsy Notes TV show, journalist, actor, director.

I have never considered myself a traveler. This is a great title, it's not about me. And I'm just a visionary, that is, an observer, or, if you want, when in Europe, a flaneur, wandering through its streets and observing others. And then, by all means, sharing impressions with those who are curious about them. If you only knew how much fun it is.

But even I have had an opportunity to take part in several trips that remained in my infidel memory for the rest of my life . This is a visit to the North Pole with the legendary Nikolai Nikolaevich Drozdov, and a short, but bright sojourn in a native American tribe in the jungles of Central America.

And I do remember how on the last anniversary I was given a gift-they organized a trip to Tibet, which I had never been to before. I was going from the capital of Tibet – Lhasa to make a two-week trip to the holy and mystical Mount Kailas. But alas, the mountain did not accept me. Back in Lhasa, it took away my strength, depriving me of sleep for 5 days. Then I learned that this often happens when Kailas robs travelers of their strength, but I don't understand why the mountain decided to punish me like this, because I didn't do anything wrong to it, and I didn't even have any nasty thoughts. A mystery!

But all these trips and toys like shooting in Africa while hunting, are, of course, memorable and welcome gifts. But I will tell you sincerely, and I hope you will trust me and not suspect of hypocrisy, that the main gifts for me were my encounters and acquaintances with people who, like countries, also made an album in my memory.

There were many encounters of the kind, but some remained in my memory as if they were photos, beautiful moments of life, bright but fleeting episodes, and others- have seriously changed something in my soul, and therefore in my fate...

It seems to me that Heli&Co Expedition is a fantastically beautiful idea. No doubt that this expedition will definitely remain in your memory as the main event of your life, which you will always be proud of. I hope that together with the lucky ones we will pass part of the route, and even more so with a team that includes famous and professional people. Together with Svetlana Vakhtel, I have had a chance to make some amazing and difficult voyages for an independent trip: in Costa Rica, New Zealand, Indonesia, Antarctica. This is a bright spot in my travels, demonstrating her experience and her love for the job as an organizer. Well, then, let there be piece in the world and let's say NO to Covid. Hallelujah! And use my experience as an example: do not beat around the bush! See you soon!

Sergei Krikalev

Cosmonaut and aviation sportsman. From October 2005 to June 2015 – the Earth's record holder for the total time spent in space.

Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of the Russian Federation, Executive Director for Manned Space Programs of the State Corporation "Roscosmos", Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Autonomous Non-profit Organization "Smart Civilization".

Dear participants of the round-the-world trip!

I had to do a lot of round-the-world trips-16 times a day. But I still envy you a little bit, because doing a round-the-world trip at low altitude, visiting many interesting places, is interesting in its own way.

Yes, you will be more at the mercy of the elements, because we fly, as a rule, over all these elements, but you will have the opportunity to see the earth, see nature, and, perhaps most importantly, to exchange impressions.

That’s why I wish you a successful journey. And I hope you will tell us and show us how this journey took place.

Goof luck to you!!!
